Statement of Faith

4C Fellowship Church is a church that follows the will of God the Father and submits to the lordship of Jesus Christ. We hold to the following Statements of Faith:

God is eternal and self-existent, who created the heavens and the earth and is the Lord of all mankind. He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one essence in three persons, the only Triune God.

Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man; He co-exists with the Father and the Holy Spirit and shares the same nature, power, eternality and glory. He is the Word became flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He willingly shed His blood to redeem sinners and was crucified on the cross. On the third day He rose from the dead, appeared to His disciples and ascended into heaven. He is the only mediator between God and man.

The Holy Spirit is the believers’ Comforter; He is co-equal with the Father and the Son in nature, power, existence and glory. He convicts people of sin and brings them to repentance and new birth. He dwells with believers forever, leads them into the truth and sanctifies them.

The Bible is composed of the Old and New Testaments, 66 books in all. The original manuscripts were inspired by God, are without error and unchanging, and are the highest authority and standard for Christian faith and life.

Man was made in the image and likeness of God. But our first ancestors sinned, and so sin entered the world; all mankind fell into sin, separated from God and unable to save themselves.

Salvation comes from the grace of God. Only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross are the sins of all who believe in Him forgiven; they are justified by faith, born again by the Holy Spirit, and receive eternal life.

Jesus Christ will come again to establish His eternal kingdom. All people will be raised and stand before Christ for the final judgment. Those who believe in Jesus Christ will rise to eternal life and be with God forever; those who do not believe will rise to eternal punishment, separated from God forever.
